Mumbai was under siege......Wednesday 26/11 The day when Mumbai's two biggest and posh hotels were under attacked.India's worst ever attack after 1992 occurred on the 26/11,killing more than 100 people and injured more than 200 people.the two landmark hotels - the Oberoi , the Taj, India's most famous hotel. The National Security Guard, the Indian Army and Navy were on assisting local police.The attacks begin at about 9.30 pm on Wednesday with firing at Cafe Leopold, South Mumbai. Then at CST station with open fire attack,then at kama hospital.then Two famous hotel oberoi situated at Nariman point and Taj at gateway of India.
Maharashtra ATS Chief Hemant Karkare is shot dead during the encounter outside the Taj Hotel. IPS officer Ashok Kamte is killed in the gun battle at Metro Cinema. Encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar is also gunned down.
